Im sick and tired of people.
People who make the same mistakes over and over and over again and then expect you to sympathize with them everytime. I do understand that people mess up, we're only human, but what i don't understand is why someone would make the same mistake again and again if it hurts them so badly. I try to be there for my friends and be supportive, but you can only do so much. I'm tired of friends coming to me with a problem they created or could have prevented, me trying to help them, and a few weeks later they end up in the same situation. It's like they aren't even listening! When people make mistakes they claim they are "sorry" or feel "guilty", but it gets a little more difficult to believe those things each time something happens again. They say, "I can't help it", or "it just happens" but we all make our own decisions. If they really were sorry for their actions they would pray about it, not just for forgivness or repentence, but also for guidance and protection. That's probably one of the biggest problems I see in Christians today. We say we trust in God, but we never rely on Him. If God can do something as radical as healing the blind, can He not simply direct us from sin and temptation? We should always turn to Him in any situation.
- Stop messing around with your boyfriend/girlfriend
- Stop turning to drugs and alcohol
- Stop indulging in sinful movies, books, etc.
- Stop talking about immoral things.
- Stop putting yourself in situations that can be tempting. (laying in bed with your bf/gf, going to parties you have no business being at)
I'm sick of people who demand improvement yet accept no obligation or responsibility in making changes. If you are going to complain about something, you should do whatever you can to fix it. You say you are sick of gossip and drama but you are creating it in the very same conversation. You can't stop the malicious by joining in.(although this post is filled with my complaints, i have to say that if i were to stay quiet i would just be neglecting my repsonsibility of speaking out against debauchery and immoral behavior)
- Stop broadcasting everyone's business
- Stop ganging up on people
- Stop thinking you are better than everyone else!
- Stop sitting around and watching all these things happen. GET UP AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST IT!
I'm sick of people with no faith ordetermination. Stick with your commitments! Believe in them and see them through! God has really been dealing with me about this. We can't just give up on something when it isn't going as smoothly as we'd like. This goes back to you responsibility. Take itm upon yourself to improve things. Take pride in what is yours and what you do, and nurture it!
The point of this blog is not to complain. Hopefully, if you read this you will undersatnd that things will never change for you unless you make a genuine effort to make it happen! Life doesn't run on our schedules or plans. If you sit around and just hope for the best you'll probably be disappointed.
